At Forest Grove Free Will Baptist Church, we realize that there are many temptations and pitfalls awaiting our young people. Therefore, we expend a great deal of effort in providing opportunities for teens and college aged young men and women to exercise their unique ministry gifts. Where the world attempts to push the youth of society to the side, Forest Grove Free Will Baptist Church encourages them to get involved in an active community of individuals who face the same battles and incur the same struggles as do they.
Within the walls of Forest Grove Free Will Baptist Church, young people find a sanctuary, not just by name but also in nature - a place of refuge without judgment; rest without condemnation; and spiritual liberty without legalism. Currently, we offer two specific ministries for young men and women. There is S.L.A.M. for those in the sixth through twelfth grades. S.L.A.M. stands for Serving our Savior, Loving our families And Ministering to others. Check us out, and we are sure that you'll find that we will do everything possible to provide opportunities and programs to encourage, enlist, and equip our most valuable group - our young people.
