Junior Church
Each Sunday, at 10:30 AM, children in 1st through 3rd grades meet in the Sanctuary for Praise and Worship, then go downstairs for Junior Church. Junior Church is a service tailored to these children and has proven to be life changing as many young people have accepted Christ as their Savior in these times of worship. During the service, children sing modern praise and worship songs; make prayer requests and have a time of prayer; enjoy an object lesson from God's Word; and learn the importance of giving. All offering received in Junior Church is used to support a missionary. Quarterly, the missionary, and his family which the children are supporting, changes. During this transition, the field of service and the needs of the missionary family are discussed. Through this endeavor, children learn to support missions with their prayers and resources, as well as learning the importance of serving God in whatever area He leads us. Periodically, the Junior Church children lead the adult worship service, as we believe in the importance of integrating the young people into our corporate worship.
